Introducing Afterall Jungle: Boston Houseplant Delivery

We became floral designers, in part, because we love surrounding ourselves with flora. We think and feel our best in the presence of growing things. Now more than ever, as we’re stuck at home, we are realizing the important role plant life plays in our lives.

At this point, our houseplants have become our best friends.

After a long winter of varying humidity, low light levels, and sporadic watering - our plant friends needed help! Even with (Demelza’s) green thumbs and the best of (Angela’s) intentions, some of our friends just didn’t make it. So, we thanked them for their service in our lives and Marie Kondo’d them to the compost pile.

Next, we visited our local plant wholesaler and replaced our old friends with new. The upgrade was truly reinvigorating, for both our space and our minds. It’s common knowledge that houseplants boost mood, productivity, concentration, and creativity - but to experience this phenomenon with brand new plants is something all together magical. It’s a high we can’t describe and want more than anything to share with you.

We are going above and beyond our usual cleanliness standards to ensure our plants are safe for your home. We are moving slowly, with intention. Each pot will be wiped with bleach disinfectant and handled only by only us, wearing gloves and masks.
